If you're still getting crappy performance with the app, go to Settings > StealthVPN options and change the mode from UDP to TCP (port 443). TCP is more reliable but you won't get as high top speeds. Still, it's more than enough for me to stream 1080p YouTube videos on my tablet, so it's good enough for me.
