I have BT infinity and have always had the modem and instead of their lousy home hub used the WNDR 3700. Works great. Annoyingly BT now uses the hub 5 which has the modem built in. And the frustration is you cannot use it in modem only mode. They are forcing the hub 5 and no longer supply open reach modems. I have a Grandstream DP715 connected to my BT Home Hub 5 (BT Infinity One line speed) and outbound VoIP calls are fine, but any inbound call kills the basestation of the DP715, so that it needs to be power-cycled.
